Keeper Position ? Full Time
Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in an animal-related field preferred, although equivalent animal experience will be considered. Must have the physical ability to perform required duties, such as but not limited to standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending and working in all types of weather conditions. Successful applicants must have a positive attitude, be a team player, be self-motivated, proactive and safety conscience. Ideal candidates are dedicated to providing the animals in our care with the highest level of animal welfare and be committed to the mission and core values of Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary.
Responsibilities: Job duties include cleaning and maintaining animal habitats; continual monitoring of habitats and visitor areas with attention to detail; feeding and watering of animals; record keeping; maintaining sanctuary grounds; creating and implementing animal enrichment; giving public tours; planning and running on and off site events; cleaning and maintaining on site lodging facilities and working on special projects as needed.
- 3 month probation period
- $10-$11/hour
